Brenda Jiral is a mixed media and watercolor artist with a strong emphasis on experimental processes and materials. She has developed many different unique methods of using water-media combined with a variety of materials. She has been teaching watercolor classes and workshops for six years at several Michigan locations as well as in her private studio.

Brenda studied fine art at Grand Valley State University and the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. The same painting was selected to be used in a full-page ad for Dick Blick Art Supplies on the back cover of the May/June 2019 issue of Watercolor Artist Magazine. In October 2019, Brenda had an article published as a guest artist, in an online blog at Doodlewash.com. This blog has over 49,000 followers and is read worldwide.
